How do you handle questions like this from your website?

How do you handle questions like this from your website?

"I am very interested in your products and I would appreciate it very much if you can send me a link to your website containing your offerings and pricing information that will help me in my selection process. Also, I can only make all payments by credit card only so let me know if that works. I look forward to your response."

I keep getting questions similar to this from people that are interested in my products and want pricing and my website address. The kicker is they fill out the information request from my website!! How do you respond without making them sound like an idiot? Ummm you were on my website to fill out the information request which also has the pricing and a checkout page that accepts Credit Cards or other forms of payment like PayPal.

I believe to many people have worn masks too long and have killed their last few braincells!!!

@Unfortunately a lot of those are scams. If their first question is if you take cards and if they typically have two first names (a last name that’s actually a first name), they tend to be scams. They’ll then ask you for an invoice vs ordering through your website. They’ll then ask you to charge more and then send them back some money.

Some of them may be real, but it’s a common thing.

And there’s no such thing as too much mask wearing.

Have to agree - you're dealing with SCAMMERS - they are just trying to find a weak spot where as they can exploit you - they are idiots but, in reality they are hoping you are. Ever have someone offer to pay you more than you're asking price or want to arrange a 3rd party shipping service - RED Flags !! Sad to say we have seen this type of behavior over and over - it's common on Craig's List and PayPal.

I figured it was a scammer and just get about 2-4 of these types of requests. Even had one scammer try o have me ship products to another country. Sorry I only ship in the USA and all my prices and safety checks are built into my website. I only send invoices to my wholesalers and wanted to post this to see the comments and warn other new business owners of these types of scams.
