How do you hide "Variation: Regular" from showing under items in the online checkout cart?

I have a Square online store and most of my items do not have variations. When items are added to the cart for checkout it shows "Variation: Regular" under each item. It looks weird. Is there a way to remove this from showing up for the customer?

I do not think it is possible to hide it from displaying during checkout. I can see how it may not properly describe the item.

I suppose if an item does not have a second variation, the system should default to not show the variation.

I did play around with it a little. Default:

Then in Square Online -> Item -> Select Item -> Add/manage Variations, I changed Regular to a single space.

Success! ....... However......

If you go back to Add/manage Variations, you will see this:

So, I think that's not a good solution. Although, you may try it and see if you can still sell the item.

Perhaps you can put a different name instead of Regular, like a period, or none, or (null).
