text-overflow inconsistency

On the main online order page, text descriptions for items apply a text-overflow that truncates text with ellipses. On user created pages, the text descriptions just disappear leaving a blank white area.

This seems like a developer/design bug or is there a way to change the setting on this.

They can take a look at your account with you to help shine a light here, as they are able to look at your account alongside you in order to pinpoint what's going on here causing these descriptions to disappear.
