@RyanRoberson Every night, at the end of my business day, I transfer my credit card payments (less any fees) to my local checking account. The money is there the next day. Friday through Sunday transfers are usually available on Monday. I’ve never had a problem (in nearly 12 years) getting my money when I need it. And, if I really need it and don’t mind paying an extra 1% I can get the money immediately, deposited to my debit card linked to Square. That’s my experience.

I have been using Square for over five years. I only use it to process card transactions, and do not keep inventory lists, or have an online presence beyond a Facebook page. I have been very happy and have always had the proceeds, less fees, in my account the next business day. I am a small jewelry business that has a part-time shop and does many "away" shows. Square just works for me. As long as I have either a WiFi or cell signal, sales are registered within seconds and accumulated for the next business days' total without fail. On the rare occasion that I have neither signal, I can opt to process the sale offline, and it is registered (or rejected due to lack of funds, in one case) automatically as soon as signal is restored.

I never transfer payments- they come over the next day.. just setup your banking info and verify the small amounts that Square deposits and you'll be good to go.

@DinaLRosenberg That is true enough. I do have a verified account linked to Square. I just prefer to initiate the transfer at the close of my day. When I do it shows up when I wake up the next business day as a pending deposit. I guess I’ve always be an impatient cuss in that regard. I might try to let Square do its automatic thing some day, just to see how quickly that works. Or I might not. LOL. I appreciate the heads up, though!

I think Square has an automatic batch-out time.... so you don't need to hit transfer I think it goes automatically?

it is automatic, I think you can, for an additional bit, get immediate access to funds, but the next business day works for me.
