Is it possible to create a new sub account or do you know a work around to have a diff item list/ menu for online ordering vs the POS?

Are we talking completely different menu?

There is a way to hide certain items from Square Online. You can simply mark them as hidden in your item library.

But having a completely different menu isn't really an option at this time.

If you can provide me with more details on what you're trying to achieve, we can probably find a workaround for you!

A client is using "item" instead of modifiers and we want to be able to setup her menu and test it before replacing it or modifying her existing item library.

Also, is it possible to bulk edit the "Item Type"? the current is 'physical' and we'd like to update it as 'food and beverage' - thanks!

So instead of adding modifiers to items, they created other items that they add to the orders instead?

There's no way to test a new item library before replacing it, but you can take advantage of the export/import features.

You can export the current library, make the changes and test, then if it doesn't work, you can import the current library again.

Also, item types can't be edited in bulk, unfortunately.
