Domain Name & Switching from Personal to Free

I registered my domain name through Weebly for my personal site, but am considering moving to a free site. Can I continue to pay for & use my domain name on a free site, or would I be automatically switched to a Weebly sub-domain?

HI, to understand, you have a Paid Plan and wish to downgrade to a Free Plan. You want to know what will happen to your domain.

The Free Plan only offers the sub-domain name. The domain is yours as long as you continue to pay or it will expire. Since you do not have access to the domain dashboard there is no way to point or forward the domain.

So, even though I'm paying for a domain, it wouldn't do me any good if I only have a free site. That's what I needed to know! Thank you 🙂
