The Square App Can't Refund Orders Placed Online???

I often need to refund a portion of a customers order to a gift card in case they made an error or something else changed with their service. We have lots of modifiers to our services with up-charges. I used to do this through the Square app but lately I've been getting an error message:

"Can't Process Refund"

This payment was processed by Square Online Store. Contact them directly to request a refund."

Ok well I used to be able to do this. Why does it always feel like Square Online is a totally different company from the terminals and the app. Can there be some integration here???

At this time, Partial refunds aren't possible with online orders. Our team is aware of this limitation and is working to make this experience better in the future.
