New iOS mobile app idiotic (sorry) usability decision

Who's dumb idea is to make it harder to do the one thing the mobile app should do well: answer the question, "what are my current daily sales?" Instead, I see the big obtuse "HELLO" with teeny sales numbers.

Am I missing something or is the latest version of the iOS app this bad?!

I have a Square Stand 1st gen with Apple Ipad. at the bottom of my screen it has 3 bars that says More, press that then Reports on the next screen. Since I have a Retail Shop and do not want employees able to see this information all the time I like the way it is setup. I also use my personal Android device to check Daily Sales by basically doing the same steps but on the bottom of my Android it says Reports, I press Reports then Sales- Then I choose the Time Frame for the Report.

I am not sure if the Mobile app on an IOS phone is different than the Ipad.
