What is the process to become a certified Square Online partner?

Hello @Donnie-M thank you for your reply.

After a business/organization sets up a Square (POS) account and adds items, I assist with settings, styling, composition, embedding widgets, and page layout for their Square Online store, using the website editor. I'm a designer, with html and css experience. Working with the API is not in my skillset. I also help with organizing items and categories / tweaking variations to enhance the shopping experience. If website updates are needed thereafter, I can help with those as well.

I really appreciate any direction or advice you can provide.

@taylorandjones From what I understand of the partner program is sellers submit custom projects. Most of the companies listed are dedicated web design companies that build a complete web presence from the ground up using the back end tools.

I understand what you are wanting to do now, and I do think there is a market for this type of assistance, but I think it is more along the lines of a business web consultant for people who use square and want a turn key site using the existing tools without learning how to use the existing tools.

I think I would get active in the community is a good place to start, but how to advertise an endeavor like this I would be a little less helpful. You don't want to spam the community, but you definitely should have your own site and try to get listed in search engine rankings or seo optimization.
