I received an email from Square this week with the subject line "New Year. New Revenue." My question is if I don't have my website via Square, is this even possible to sell in an Online Store via Square?

I certainly use Square for sales at craft fairs, Pop Up Shops etc as well as an option for payment on my Go Daddy website, but this email indicating I need to "finish up Square Online and start 2023 off with a new revenue stream" has me confused, but also curious if I can actually do this in some way. Thanks.

HI, a free Online Store is included with your Square account. The email is promotional information to complete your store.

From your Square Dashboard select Online to open your Online Dashboard.

Hi Terri, I've done a little research and If I'm understanding correctly, if I use the Square online store, all my hard work setting up my GoDaddy store and products will be overridden and only the Square online store will be active. I thought I'd be able to have an Online square store and my still keep my GoDaddy shop within my website.

I don't want to loose everything I've built in GoDaddy -

Can you explain how the square online store is any better than what I already have on my website? I'm using Square payments within my GoDaddy website and that is working just fine.

What am I missing? Thanks

HI, your GoDaddy store will not be affected at all. Nothing at GoDaddy has changed.

IF, you have a domain name (.com etc) if and when you are ready, you can just change the DNS settings from GoDaddy to Square.

Your Square Online Store is yours for free to use whenever you are ready to use it or not use it.
