Display Stock of items on my online store

Our business has transitioned to functioning based off of our stock amounts. We produce a quantity of 40 for our customer and they purchase whatever is available. It's become wildly difficult as we transition and we're considered leaving Square because this feature isn't available through their online store.

Unfortunately, it looks like this was asked about 3 years ago and presented as a "feature request". Has there been any update? Would love to see this become available and visible for our customers.

At this time, the ability to display the quantity of an item for your Online customers is a feature request. Although this feature isn’t currently available with Square, it’s a great idea and I can see how it would be beneficial to your business.
