Editing Stories Overview Page

Hi everyone,

I was working on my stories overview page, and wanted to ask if there is a way to edit the image thumbnails. Currently, the image thumbnails seems to default to whatever image was used in the story content section, but sometimes I opt to not use an image in that section to save space and have the blog flow better. Is there a way to add a custom image?

Also, for the stories overview page, is there a way to arrange the stories in a specific order? I would like to arrange them so that my customers see specific stories first and it logically makes sense.

@HolyGrounds @_Violet : Thank you for tagging me. I’d like to help in regards to your question however, I too am in search of some help fleshing out our Online Store to include pages from our traditional website and dump Squarespace altogether and move our domain name to Square

I am working on this and it seems the only way to rearrange stories is to change the published date on the story.

I don't see a way to edit the image thumbnail but my best guess is that the photo needs to be 1000x1000 pixels but I don't know if that is perfect. I can't find better documentation on the photo sizes being displayed on the Stories overview page.

Hi there again, @augustalan! Here's what the Square Online Team let me know:

"The Stories pages are our equivalent of blog posts so the Seller's stories being chronologically ordered would be expected. If they're not a fan of that, they'd be better off using Standard Pages since that will give them more control, regarding the image. It should be grabbing the first image used in their Stories. There is no way to set a custom image separately on the Stories Overview page. That would be considered a feature request."
